The Legend of Zelda! Tears of the Kingdom
The Legend of Zelda! Nintendo created and published this extremely popular video game franchise. The series began in 1986 with the release of the first game for the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES), and has since grown to become one of Nintendo's most popular and profitable franchises.
The games usually revolve around a young hero named Link, who is tasked with rescuing Princess Zelda and saving Hyrule from the evil Ganon or other villains. The games' exploration-based gameplay, puzzle-solving, and action-adventure elements, as well as their iconic music and visuals, have made them cult classics.
The Legend of Zelda series has spawned numerous sequels and spin-offs, and has been released on a wide range of Nintendo consoles and handheld devices, as well as PC and mobile platforms via emulators.
