In Western society, Christmas is often spent with friends and family. It is also a happy day for a family reunion. Normally, in order to celebrate Christmas, preparations were started early. People might have sent greeting cards to their loved ones and decorated their Christmas trees in prominent places at home, which has become a deeply rooted tradition.

Usually, houses are decorated with evergreen plants and the house is decorated with holy corollas, ivy, and fur. A bundle of mistletoe is often placed above the doorway, and couples walking under the door need to kiss each other! Traditional foods like - sweet stuffing, fancy Christmas cake and Christmas pudding are also prepared.

Many families go to church at midnight on Christmas Eve or go to church in the morning to celebrate Christmas. Christmas gifts are bought in advance for their loved ones normally for kids and placed under the Christmas tree on Christmas Eve or hidden in a corner, waiting for the family's next day's surprise.

The most beautiful thing about Christmas is children's. They hang socks (an old sock, a pillow) by the fireplace or at the corner of the bed to hold Santa's gift. The story about Santa Claus sitting on a reindeer pulling snow and coming down to the chimney to give gifts to children is the source.

The beauty of Christmas is that all the family members come together to have Christmas dinner. After dinner, family members may go for a walk, play games, enjoy gifts or get together to watch TV.

 2. Decorating the Christmas tree :

This tradition refers to the use of lanterns, gold foil, garlands, ornaments, candy bars, etc. to decorate the pine trees. Nowadays, the Christmas tree is also an indispensable part of the festival eve. Placing gifts under Christmas gifts for loved ones and kids.

3. Giving gifts to friends and loved ones :

Every Christmas eve, friends and family especially children, give gifts to each other. That's what Santa Claus does too :).

4. Distributing Christmas candy :

This is the most interesting of all traditions. In the Christmas season, people distribute Christmas candy to each other and their neighbors. This is one such festival where all misunderstandings and hatred between people are resolved, and the neighborhoods unite to celebrate the birth of Jesus.
